Anna Armenante
Italian musician Anna Armenante graduated in flute as a student of the "Giuseppe Verdi" Conservatory in Milan, completing a two years training and at the same time beginning to study with Alfred Rutz in Lugano (Switzerland). She received the 2nd Level Academic Diploma at the Milan Conservatory and, approaching the ancient music with the flute, studying with Francesca Odling in Turin, she graduated in baroque flute at the Conservatory of Verona and attended the main masterclasses and summer courses in Italy dedicated to early music. She performs in different ensembles in Turin, at the Galleria Sabaudia, the Waldensian Temple, at the Conservatory, for Opera Munifica Istruzione at Santena Castle, at the Museum of Antiquities and the Royal Palace of Venaria Reale. She took part in several productions of the Accademia Montis Regalis, performing as a soloist in the Concerto for Two Flutes by J. F. Fasch. Anna performs in chamber groups, in particular with the Opera Ensemble of Milan, with which she performed at the International Festival "Opera Barga" (Lucca), Teatro Litta (Milan) and in many other occasions; with the Art Ensemble, she played in Milano at the Sala Verdi and in the cloister of the "Giuseppe Verdi" Conservatory, at the Web Space of Messaggerie Musicali, the Diocesan Museum and the Civic Planetarium; with Trio Sirian for several years and at the Teatro Out Off with the show entitled "The Armenian of rue de la Paix". She held often first parts with different orchestras including: "Giorgio Strehler" Orchestra in Milan, "City of Verona" Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonic Orchestra of the Conservatory of Milan, Youth Orchestra Jupiter, OpeCam Orchestra of Milan, Arteviva Chamber Orchestra, Ticinensis Chamber Orchestra, with which she performed as a soloist. More recently she has been heavily involved with guitarist Marco Battaglia, giving concerts with 19th century original instruments. |
