Tiziana Scaciga Della Silva, soprano
Tiziana Scaciga Della Silva is an Italian soprano. She studied law at Universita’ Cattolica of Milan (Italy) and after her master she begun her voice study with Maestro Alain Billard. She obtained a Diploma in Soloist Singing at Accademia Toscanini, Parma, specialized workshops for young opera singers, where she had the opportunity to sing in several opera concerts with Orchestra Filarmonica dell’Accademia Toscanini and perform in Mozart’s Don Giovanni directed by Beppe de Tomasi. She received an award at the opera competition Selezione Voci Liriche Mario Biasiola, the third price at the Fourth European Lyric Forum at Arles (France) and the third price at the “Pia Tebaldini” Lyric Competition (Italy). Her regular operatic production includes the role of: Micaela in Carmen (Bizet), Contessa in Nozze di Figaro (Mozart), Donna Anna in Don Giovanni (Mozart), Mimì in La Boheme (Puccini), Liù in Turandot (Puccini), Violetta in Traviata, Desdemona in Otello, Alice in Falstaff (Verdi), Adriana in Adriana Lecouvreur (Cilea). Besides several opera performances in many theatres and opera houses in Italy and abroad (USA, France, Croatia, Bahrain and Malta), she perform in very popular “operetta“ like Die lustige Witwe (Franz Lehar) and Die Csárdásfürstin (Emmerich Kalman). She recorded several CDs of opera arias and operetta under the musical direction of Maestro Roberto Negri (Teatro alla Scala). The most important work and world premier recorded for the Italian discography company Bongiovanni was “Chatterton” of Ruggero Leoncavallo. |
